Oct. 3rd, 2009 02:29 pmHe had actually let Richard build him the treehouse. After all, the Wolves, Leopards and Vamps were around more than his own parents. It was where he currently sat, his sister and Aunt were puttering around in the house planning a party. Like he wanted to play stupid games. His sister could have the normal life, he didn't like it.
Jumping down from the deck of the house, landing in a low crouch three feet down, the young boy walked into the woods grumbling a little as he searched out a good place to practice throwing his knife.
Wasn't like he'd be needed in planning things. His sister was the popular one. He took after his uncle a little more than his dad, except when it came to preparing for hunts. He loved the research part.
"They both were supposed to be here by now." He scowled, his mom was supposed to be coming back from over seas where she was working as a medic. She still hunted, but the job was one she couldn't pass up. All of the victims of a plague happening in South East Asia had been shifters, a whole clan oclan of Tigers had been wiped out, as well as a few Bears.
So far it hadn't made it's way state side, but all the shifters in St. Louis were on edge each time that Sarah had checked in. They had found out that she was immune to the lycanthropy strains, which with her training, made her a valuable asset to all of them.
His dad and uncle hadn't been seen in a while, though they had gotten a call while he and his sister were in school. Trin had left it on the machine for them to hear. His dad had promised to be home for a week at least. And that was three days ago.
They were a day late.
